How to find the cottages

Electricity, gas and starter pack of fuel for the fire (where relevant) is included in the price.

In order to keep rentals down, we only provide linen and towels by request at £8 per person. If you would like these we will usually make up the beds for you in advance so all is ready for your first night, we also provide tea towels and a table cloth.

Once you have phoned to make a provisional booking, please send a deposit of £100 per week to secure the dates, the balance of the rental should then be paid six weeks before the start of your holiday. Please click here for a booking form which you can print.

Short breaks may be available out of season or at short notice - ask for details.

Pets can be accepted by arrangement only and with an additional fee of £20 per week. Sorry but we cannot accept puppies and we do not allow pets in Tigh Beg Lodge.

Terms and Conditions

We cannot normally refund your rental but if you should have to cancel for any reason we will make every effort to re-let the week(s) and should we be successful we will make a full refund less a small administrative charge. We strongly suggest that you consider taking out holiday cancellation insurance, either through our scheme or one of your own. With this in mind please would you inform us as soon as you know of any problems. Provisional bookings are normally held for one week although this may be extended by agreement. Otherwise the property will normally be made re-available for hire if the form and deposit have not been received after 7 days.

Acknowledgement by us of a signed booking form and initial deposit is treated as a firm booking and at this point the hirer becomes liable for the full balance of charges which are payable 42 days before the commencement date of the holiday. If we have not received full payment by the due date we reserve the right to re-let the property.

We reserve the right to withhold this property from the hirer in the event of it being unsuitable because of events beyond our control (e.g. fire damage or interruption of utility supplies). In such circumstances we will endeavour to offer alternative accommodation but if this is not possible or suitable the hire charge will be refunded in full but the hirer shall have no further claim.

The hirer is responsible for the condition of the property and its entire contents during the hire period, fair wear and tear excepted. The hirer will make good any damage or loss and is expected to leave the property and contents in a clean and tidy condition. The person held to be responsible for the hiring party will be the person who signed the booking form.

The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the maximum occupancy level stated on the details without our express permission. We reserve the right to terminate occupancy of the property without notice or refund in the case of breach of this condition or of evidence of any other gross misuse of the property.
