An Taigh Coille (The Log House) is a detached Norwegian Bungalow built of whole logs, giving it a warm atmosphere and a very cosy feel. It is provided with efficient heating and is set in a large private garden with a lovely outlook near the shores of Loch Etive. It has three bedrooms, and open living area with wood burning stove, conservatory dining room as well as fully fitted kitchen and bathroom.

Connel Village, which has a general store/Post Office and church, is a little over a mile away, with a choice of places to eat within a mile or two and the ferry/fishing port of Oban about 6 miles.

AN TAIGH COILLE AND ITS LOCALITY

The bungalow has accommodation for up to five people. There is a lounge with conservatory to the garden, which has a folding dining table. The three bedrooms provide flexible accommodation, there is one double bedroom, one bedroom ideally designed for single occupancy but with a double bed suitable for a second couple and one further single bedroom. The bathroom provides a bath with shower over, heated towel rail, w.c. and wash hand basin. A cot and high chair are available by request.

Cooking and heating are all electric plus a wood burning stove which can be used to provide heat in the lounge but is not essential as there is ample other (electric) heating. Furnishings and fittings are to a high standard and include a cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, colour television, video and mini hi fi etc. There is a large level garden and parking for two cars in the drive.

The area is rich in wildlife with lots of interesting paces to visit, both fun and historical, and is wonderful for walking with many local walks and Glencoe only about 28 miles away. There are opportunities for fishing, boating and riding in the area and plenty of attractions for adults and children, indoors and out. Mull, Iona and many of the other inner Hebrides are accessible from Oban for day trips or longer stays.
